School Games Award 
I am pleased to say that in 2026, we were awarded the Gold School Games Mark for the second year running. This recognises the commitment the school has made to delivering high-quality PE and school sport at Scarcliffe Primary School.
What is Sport Premium?
In April 2013, the Government announced new funding for physical education (PE) and sport. This funding should be used to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision. Funding is allocated to all maintained and state-funded schools with primary phase pupils, including: primary, middle, special and non-maintained special schools, academies and pupil referral units. Schools are free to determine how best to use this funding to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision, including increasing participation in PE and sport so that all pupils develop healthy lifestyles and reach the performance levels they are capable of.
How much funding did the school receive?
In 2020/21 the school received £16,800
In 2021/22 the school received £16,800
In 2022/23 the school received £16,780
In 2023/24 the school will receive £16,770
In 2024/25 the school will receive £16,760
In 2025/26 the school will receive £16,770
